This morning, ‘round 11am, I decided I was going to begin. I got some more pens, I got an appropriate book, and I layed out the rules.

Testing my mettle, here is the first actual daily sketch. I hope I can play by the rules, and win.

Another mind-numbingly slow Sunday. Just like last weekend, I had planned to wake up before ten, to ride up the hills through Paradise and Magalia, and just like last weekend, I slept in. I wish my mood would remain consistent throughout the day, a constant state of lethargy or activity would be preferable to these divided and wasted weekends.

Perhaps I should just get more sleep if I want to wake up early. Three in the morning has nothing to offer, but it is so easy to reach.
