The evidence presented in this film is the strongest I’ve seen either for or against the theory that the attacks on Sept. 11th did not happen in the manner that the American public has been lead to believe. While I do feel that the film may lack credibility due in part to many stylistic decisions, I still feel that a majority of the evidence presented is very convincing, and in many cases offers sound arguments that refute the explanations offered by the US government. It’s very easy to dismiss this as a flimsy conspiracy theory that proves nothing. I accept that this film is a credible inquiry, and deserves to be widely distributed. I hope you’ll take the time to watch this film, and to decide for yourself.

Loose Change

I’m endorsing this video. Let the all-knowing eyes of our handsome and mysterious overlords observe and record my decision to question, and to disseminate this information openly and willingly.

It’s been said that if you are hungry, it take twenty minutes from the time you start eating until your body recognizes that you’re full. For those as metabolically enabled as myself, there is an unspoken challenge. How much tofu, stuffing, cranberry sauce, yams, mashed potatoes, sweetened carrots, corn, cauliflower, broccoli, pumpkin pie, apple pie, ice cream, and whipped cream, can you eat in twenty minutes? Way too much.

I voted today, and my vote was counted on a DIEBOLD voting machine. I have little confidence that the machine was perfectly secure. Like any other piece of software or hardware, there will always be exploitable security holes. I don’t think it is feasible to construct an electronic voting system that is completely immune to manipulation and vote fraud.

I do believe that the accurate counting of votes is pretty goddamn critical in a Democracy. If we allow the vendors of voting machines to maintain their stranglehold on the throat of the American Democratic process, then we are damning ourselves to a government that fears no internal repercussions for their actions. Why would a senator act in the interests of his constituents if he had the utmost confidence that he would be re-elected, thanks to his beneficiaries at DIEBOLD?

If electronic voting machines can not be trusted to be accurate (within acceptable measures), and accurate voting is required for a just democracy, then there can not be a just democracy that relies upon electronic vote tabulation.

Vote fraud is not the product of insidious new technologies; ballot box stuffing is as old as sin. What’s new and horrifying to me, is the possibility for incredibly widespread dissemination of fraudulent voting software, and the complete lack of accountability within a compromised system.

I’m not going to stop voting. I am going to look in to who controls the purchase of the voting mechanisms in my district. I am going try to ensure that I’m not wasting my vote when I cast my ballot.
